Detectives from Operation Castle, our dedicated burglary unit, have charged a man from Southdene after a car, sledgehammer and a crowbar were seized from a property in Liverpool.
At around 1.40pm on 5 April 2024 it was reported that four men were seen in a white Mercedes after they broke into an address on Fylde Road armed with a sledgehammer and a crowbar.
The white Mercedes was later found by police during a warrant on Brookdale Drive in Liverpool with the weapons inside.
Reece Owen, 24, of Cawthorne Avenue, Southdene was arrested at an address in Kirkby and charged with burglary yesterday (Thursday, 2 May).
He was remanded into custody this morning, Friday 3 May, at Wirral Adult Remand Court.

It's got nothing to do with motorists, it's to do with burglars.
The mode of transport is totally irrelevant, same as in the past when I've arrested drug dealers on bikes.
Would people be making the same type of stupid immature comment such as 'Gosh cyclists dealing drugs? Whatever next?'

Yes, they would. We've heard it on here umpteen times, i.e. naff comments about 'hoodies on bikes' dealing drugs!
Funny how one minute the mode of transport is so relevant, e.g. when bikes are involved. Then the next, when it's a motorist it's got nothing to do with mode of transport - duh!

Which, having seen so much anti-cyclist hype on here. Was motivation enough to register as a member and begin to redress the balance in a similar vein.

You alone post more anti motorist comments than ALL the anti cyclists put together.

So basically, your only reason for being on this site is to stir things up?
From what I've seen, (and this is coming from my views as a cyclist!) you are the instigation behind most 'anti-cyclist hype' by your inflammatory comments! (Although I doubt you'll accept this, based on your posts not so long back in regard to your dangerous driving!)

That's bang on, he’s a very, very unpleasant individual who probably has almost no friends and gets his rocks off by being as nasty as he can be, especially to motorists. He’s also a pathological liar who will consistently change his story to gain maximum effect. It’s people like him who starts wars.

On the contrary, I'm a most personable type of guy, who as anyone who knows me likes to see fair play. However, sucking-up to the motoring fraternity in order to win adulation, is not on my playlist....Far from it. When it comes to receiving negative comments from highlighting motorists failings - the more the better!

Fine, now let's get back on track....Would you still have nothing to say about it, if four criminal cyclists were riding about town wielding sledgehammers and crowbars, forcing their way into local homes? (rollseyes).
